I am a senior editor helping reporters publish stories that matter.

Need to Get in Touch?

I am a senior editor helping a team of reporters develop, strengthen and publish their investigations.

I previously edited long-term investigations at The Washington Post, where I helped to shape multiplatform series, including podcasts: “The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop,” which won a Peabody Award, and “Broken Doors,” which was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize. I also edited the illustrated narrative “Searching for Maura,” another Pulitzer finalist.

Before the Post, I spent a decade working on award-winning documentaries, podcasts and digital stories at the PBS show “Frontline,” ultimately as the series’ senior editor. I co-produced the documentary “Flint’s Deadly Water,” which showed that the death toll from Flint, Michigan’s water crisis was likely far higher than officials had reported. It was nominated for Peabody and Emmy awards and recognized by the Scripps Howard Awards with a Jack R. Howard Award for Broadcast.

I have also worked as a reporter for news outlets including The Wall Street Journal.

I currently teach investigative journalism for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s graduate program in science writing.
