My Background

Before joining ProPublica, I was the director of development at Independent Diplomat, an international nonprofit dedicated to working with small and emerging governments. I also led the fundraising efforts as director of development at Coro New York Leadership Center, which helped train the next generation of corporate, government and nonprofit leaders in New York. While at Human Rights First, I was the director of law firms, corporations and the annual fund. After graduating from the University of Detroit with a Bachelor of Arts in English and philosophy, I began my career at a tech startup that developed software to support complex litigation for large law firms and in-house counsel.
