Emily Martinez was a design fellow at ProPublica. She received her master’s in May 2014 from the Columbia Journalism School, where she gained skills in multimedia production and coding and design. She joined ProPublica from NPR, where she covered politics and assisted in radio production as an intern on their Washington Desk. She was formerly a production intern at StoryCorps, a nonprofit oral history and public radio project.
