As part of ProPublica’s “Nursing Homes” series and interactive news application, we've created a small widget that you can embed on your web site. It lets users search thousands of nursing home inspection reports to find problems in their state. Each search will take them to the results page of our Nursing Home Inspect tool, where they'll be able to see list of deficiencies that match their search terms. From here they will also be able to explore how states or even individual homes compare when it comes to deficiencies and penalties.
We’ll update this data roughly every month, and the widget running on your site will always have the latest data.
All you’ll need to do on your site is to copy and paste a short line of code onto your web pages at the point you want the widget to appear. In many ways, it works just like embedding a YouTube video.
Nerd-to-Nerd Stuff
The widget is fluid to accommodate smaller and larger viewports, but must be at least 160px wide.
We track the number of views the widget gets on your site, but we track absolutely nothing about your users. We don't set or read any cookies.
