The Online News Association has named ProPublica and partner newsrooms as winners of three Online Journalism Awards, which honor excellence in digital journalism around the world.

"The Night Doctrine," an animated documentary made in collaboration with The New Yorker, won the digital video storytelling, long form, small/medium newsroom category.

"Friends of the Court" won the excellence in social media engagement category.

"Unprepared," a documentary made in collaboration with FRONTLINE and The Texas Tribune won the explanatory reporting, large newsroom category.
