The Deadline Club is the largest chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. This year, its awards contest drew a record 547 entries that were published or broadcast in 2013 by news organizations with offices in the New York City area. The winners will be announced at the Annual Awards Dinner on May 19 at the Waldorf Astoria, where the keynote speaker will be CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker.
