ProPublica Hires Peneloppe Serrano as IT Support Specialist

ProPublica announced the hiring of Peneloppe Serrano to its technology and security team as an IT specialist. Serrano started in December 2024.

Serrano joins us from View the Space, where she led internal, international support staff and developed IT policies and procedures. She began her career at startup Plated, where she provided help-desk support to the company’s headquarters and fulfillment center. Serrano is based in the Bronx.

“Peneloppe brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles,” said Joseph Iacona, director of enterprise technology and security at ProPublica. “She has nearly a decade of experience tackling complex technical challenges and delivering top-notch user support for large, distributed teams.”
