Yesterday, ProPublica reporter Michael Grabell and New York Times national correspondent Michael Cooper were on NY1's Inside City Hall to discuss the stimulus bill and why the Obama administration has struggled to promote the largest economic recovery plan in the nation's history. Host Errol Louis asked the reporters about the Recovery Act's impact on New York City and the rest of the country.

NBC New York also utilized ProPublica's stimulus data to take a closer look at the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Their investigative team tracked the local projects that were so-called "shovel-ready," but have yet to start, pointing out that in the tri-state, nearly 60 percent of the projects still listed as "not started" are responsibilities of state and local governments.
