Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 6, public radio’s The Story will feature one homeowner’s quest to sort out the incredible tangle that is the mortgage mess. The homeowner, Pamela Jeter of Atlanta, appeared in a ProPublica report last week, which showed how even when investors in the loan want to allow modifications, the representatives that act on behalf of the banks sometimes won’t allow them. (The day after we published our story, Jeter’s mortgage servicer agreed to postpone foreclosing on her home.)
