Weapons Workers’ Claims Filed vs. Claims Settled, State by State

These statistics came from the Labor Department’s Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs on March 25. The numbers, which are updated almost daily, show how many claims have been filed in each state, and how many of those claims have been settled. At least half a million people worked to build the nation’s Cold War nuclear arsenal, laboring at more than 300 sites across the country.
