Stimulus Road Bucks: Where States Are Spending Transportation Money
Four months after the stimulus bill passed, only one state (Maine) has obligated all of its stimulus highway money, according to the federal Department of Transportation. Total and obligated amounts include money targeted at major cities in each state. So far, most of the money has gone to paving projects. We will continue to update the list numbers until states have obligated all of their stimulus money. You can help track projects in your area by signing up here.
