Dollars for Docs Media Roundup

Tonight, the Nightly Business Report will air part two of their report on our “Dollars for Docs” investigation in which we detailed pharmaceutical companies’ payments to doctors. (Look up your doctor.) Tonight’s segment will feature ProPublica senior reporter Tracy Weber discussing some of the doctors who received payments to promote drugs. Check here to find local airtimes.

Yesterday, Charles Ornstein explained to NPR’s Morning Edition’s Renee Montagne how the project could help empower patients. And Weber spoke with All Things Considered’s Robert Siegel and told him how we analyzed the database to piece together the story. NPR will have more on this series in the coming days.
