Another Fire on a Mariner Energy Platform in the Gulf

At this time last week, the Coast Guard was busy responding to a fire on an oil platform owned by Mariner Energy. Today, the Coast Guard reported that another fire broke out on a Mariner Energy platform this morning.

The fire appears to have been small, and was already extinguished by the time the Coast Guard arrived, reported The Times-Picayune in New Orleans. Offshore drilling regulators are investigating.
